Golf / Tommy Scales

The basic fundamentals with emphasis on instruction in the grip, stance, swing, rules, etiquette, strategy and tactics in medal and match play. One night per week for six weeks (7/14–8/21)—Monday assigned to the very beginning student through Thursday, the most advanced. The first class meets at Piedmont High, Room 16 at 6:00p on Monday, July 13, then Lake Chabot Golf Course thereafter. Tommy Scales has played golf for over 31 years and has coached the PHS golf team. Class fee includes greens fees and use of equipment.

West Coast Swing & Salsa: Enjoy the fun of social dance! If you are new to partner dancing, David Kelso and Chris Mehling’s relaxed teaching style makes it easy to learn the skills you’ll need to dance well and have a great time in any social situation. Partners are required at registration. It’s best to wear hard–soled (leather– or plastic–soled) shoes. Singles must come to the first class to be paired with other singles before they register. No class 7/3.
